
Before completing these steps, please ensure you have obtained your email address, password, incoming mail server name (IMAP), and outgoing mail server name (SMTP) from our Support Team.
1. Start Outlook.
- If Microsoft Outlook Startup wizard appears, on the first page of the wizard click Next.
Then, on the E-mail Accounts page, click Next, then move to Step 2 below.
2. Select File, then click on Add Account.
3. Select the Manually configure server settings or additional server types check box, and then click Next.

4. On the Choose Service window, select Internet E-mail, and then click Next.

5. On the Internet E-mail Settings window, configure the following settings under each section:

a. Under User Information:
- In the Your Name box, type your full name.
- In the Email Address box, type your full email address.
b. Under Server Information:
-
In the Account Type box, select IMAP.
- In the Incoming mail server box, type the name of the server in lowercase letters.
The name is in the form of mail.<your domain name>, e.g. "mail.acmecars.co.nz". -
In the Outgoing mail server (SMTP) box, type the name of the outgoing email server in lowercase letters.
The name is in the form of mail.<your domain name>, e.g. "mail.acmecars.co.nz".
c. Under Logon Information:
- In the User Name box, type your email address.

In the Password box, type the password that was provided by our Support Team.
Note: If you want Outlook to remember your email account password, click to select the Remember password check box.
6. Click on the More Settings button. This will display the Internet E-mail Settings window below:

7. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication check box.
8. Then, select the Advanced tab.

9. Under Server Port Numbers:
a. Incoming server (IMAP), use 143 for the port number,
b. Use the following type of encrypted connection select None from the drop-down list.
c. Outgoing server (SMTP), use 587 for the port number.
d. Use the following type of encrypted connection select None from the drop-down list.
10. Click the OK button.
11. This then takes you back to the Internet E-mail Settings window.
12. Click the Next button.
13. Outlook will now test the account settings entered and will display the status in the window below:

14. Once done, click the Close button to close the Test Account Settings dialog box.
15. Click Next, and then click Finish.
