When a customer ‘favourites’ one of your vehicles on Need A Car they are showing genuine interest in your vehicle. What if you could turn that interest into something more by offering a unique deal to that customer?
Direct Offers allow just that, a quick and easy way to communicate a special offer to a customer at the time they favourite one of your vehicles.
To initiate a direct offer:
- When a customer favourites one of your vehicles you should receive a notification email with the subject line 'Vehicle Favourited'. Open that email.
- Locate the What should I do next? section and click the 'Send Special Offer' button.
- You will be redirected to a form where you can enter a unique offer to send to that customer. Enter your offer and click the Submit button.
IMPORTANT: If you DO NOT have an offer to present then please DO NOT use this form.
Direct offers are regularly monitored by our admin team and any seller found in breach of these instructions may have this function removed from their account.
Your offer will then be sent directly to the customer via email and you will be advised if they read your offer and/or when they respond to or choose to decline your offer.
Members have the option to exclude themselves from receiving Direct Offers. When this occurs, the Send Special Offer button in Step 2 above will not appear and you will not be able to send a Direct offer to that customer.
