Feature highlights

		Mobile app updates We've added a raft of new functionality to the mobile app including on behalf of purchases, copying vehicles, purchase orders, GAP/LPI, money oustanding tool, new reports plus more.
		SFTP listing agent exports enabled SFTP is a secure, encrypted alternative to standard FTP, ensuring files are transferred safely and reducing the risk of interception or unauthorised access. SFTP export destinations can now be enabled on request for any integration that supports or requires SFTP.

Administration, security & user management

• The login page now includes a show/hide password toggle, making it easier to check the password while typing, especially on mobile, without compromising security. A
• The session timeout dialog now uses accurate button labels, preventing confusing ‘Restart Motorcentral’ prompts. D
• Email address fields will no longer accept leading or trailing spaces, helping keep user contact details accurate. D
• Resolved an issue where using Log Off did not fully sign out, leaving the session active. Logging off now ends the session correctly and requires a fresh sign-in before access is restored. D
• Editing forms in Website Admin now display as a two‑column layout, making fields easier to scan with less scrolling. DA
• The one-time passcode (OTP) screen has been upgraded to be more mobile‑friendly with auto‑advance and improved paste support. A

Inventory & vehicle management

• Loan Vehicle Activity now includes fields for Purpose of use, Fuel level at pickup, Odometer start, and Odometer finish in both Desktop and the app to improve tracking and record keeping. On Desktop, Test Drive Agreement forms support custom T&Cs, allowing terms to be overridden when required. DA
• Vehicles set to the On Behalf purchase type now include options to print the On Behalf agreement, purchase the vehicle, or return it to the supplier. This makes it easier to complete required actions and documentation directly in the mobile app. A
• When a vehicle's purchase type is set to On Consignment, the mobile app now provides actions to purchase the vehicle or return it to the supplier. A
• Vehicle Groups is now available under the Vehicles admin tab in the mobile app, enabling creation and management of groups to organise inventory and streamline searches and filtering. A
• Added a 'Copy Vehicle' option to the mobile app. A
• Purchase orders can now be approved or cancelled in the mobile app, and a new search makes it faster to find and manage purchase orders. A
• The Vehicles Expenses tab in mobile app now supports full expense management. View existing costs and add, edit, or remove individual entries to keep each vehicle’s cost breakdown accurate. A
• Quick Entry for vehicles has been added to the mobile app, including the option to populate or overwrite vehicle details using an existing CarCheck report. A
• Price fields across the mobile app now use the standard price editor for consistent formatting, tax‑type selection and validation. This covers vehicle admin (retail, wholesale, special and on-road costs), purchase orders (order amount) and Vehicle Wanted activities (Price From/To), aligning behaviour with Motorcentral Desktop. A
• The mobile app now shows odometer history in Vehicle view to match desktop, with the ability to open past readings and add new ones. Editing the odometer in Edit Vehicle has been disabled as this is now handled via Odometer readings. A
• Fixed an issue in the mobile app that prevented editing vehicle expense details. Expense Type, Part and Part Quantity can now be updated when editing a vehicle expense, helping keep costs accurate. A
• Fixed an issue where the vehicle Make/Model/Variant drop-downs allowed typing invalid values that appeared to save but were cleared when the vehicle was re-opened. These fields now require a valid selection from the list, reducing data entry errors and preventing data loss. A

Sales & lead management

• Mobile app now supports adding non‑integrated GAP and LPI/PPI products to a sale. A

Finance, accounting & compliance

• Fixed an issue in the finance application PDF where the main applicant’s employer and employment status fields could display incorrect information and the partner’s employment status was missing. D
• Searches for Purchase Orders and Purchase Invoices now load faster and more consistently. D
• A Purchase Agreement report is now automatically created when purchasing a vehicle that isn’t a trade‑in, with digital signing available on Motorcentral Desktop to streamline compliance and reduce paperwork. A
• The Money Outstanding tool is now available in the mobile app. A

Marketing, advertising & exporting vehicles

• Fixed an issue with FTP export settings where trailing slashes in the data file path and image file path were not removed when saving which was causing issues. D
• Customer list exports (File > Data Export) for the Sale and Contact entity types now include marketing consent columns (e.g., email_opt_in, bulk_email_opt_in). A
• Trade Me exports for multi‑dealerships now continue even if one dealership’s login is invalid, skipping that account rather than stopping the whole export. A warning at the end lists any dealerships that failed due to invalid username or password so credentials can be corrected. A
• Resolved an issue in Website Admin where staff photos did not display after saving. Photos now appear as expected once saved, so staff profiles show correctly on the website. A
• Highlights can now be edited directly in Website Admin, including updating the title, description, and selecting an icon via a Material Design icon URL. When a highlight is changed, its AI-generated status is automatically cleared so it’s accurately shown as manually updated. A
• Added support for SFTP exports, enabling secure, automated delivery of files to external systems. This option can be enabled on request for integrations that require SFTP. D

Reporting, analytics & insights

• Fixed an issue where the AMPD Task Log report only displayed the first 1,000 tasks. The report now shows all tasks, ensuring large custom AMPD campaigns are fully visible. D
• Fixed an issue that prevented the Fuel Economy Label report from running in mobile app. A
• The Motorcentral online app now supports running custom reports. If a report uses features that aren’t compatible (including export to CSV), the app will display a clear notice advising the report needs upgrading for app compatibility. A
• Reports in the mobile app now support date range filters and use the same date range selector as the dashboard, making it easier to filter results and compare periods consistently. A
• Reports in the mobile app now generate in the background preventing timeouts and improving reliability. A progress modal now shows whilst the report is prepared. This can be cancelled, resumes if you leave and return to the app, and opens the report automatically once ready. A
• All vehicle reports have been added to the mobile app, including Fuel Economy Label, Fuel Economy & Safety Rating labels, Financial Details, MR1B (text‑only) and Purchase Agreement. A
• Fixed an issue that caused the Photo Stock List report to fail in the mobile app with an error. A

Notifications & messaging

• Custom email messages set for digital signing requests are now recorded in the event log when requests are queued, improving traceability and audit history. D
• Users who add the PWA to their home screen or desktop can now receive web push notifications from Motorcentral, helping them stay informed about updates. A

Third party integrations

• When a vehicle is reactivated for exporting to Trade Me (Dealerbase) key details such as the stock number are recorded in teh Event Log, making it easier to identify which vehicle have been reactivated. This assists with troubleshooting and tracking updates sent to Trade Me.
• Customer contact details in Xero now automatically update when the linked contact is edited in Motorcentral, keeping records consistent and reducing manual updates. This helps prevent mismatches between Motorcentral and Xero.

Other

• Website Admin has been added as a default tab option in My Account. Allows you to start at Website Admin when first entering Motorcentral desktop and mobile app. DA
• Multi‑select fields now include a footer with ‘Select all’ and ‘Clear selection’ buttons to speed up bulk changes. Use these options to quickly select every item or clear your choices in one step. A
• The mobile app has been upgraded to Angular 20, delivering performance improvements for faster load times and smoother navigation. This behind‑the‑scenes update also enhances stability and future compatibility. A
• System events can now be viewed in the mobile app in the Event viewer, matching the functionality available in Motorcentral Desktop. A
• Background processing has been streamlined by consolidating task calls and adopting native async, improving responsiveness and reducing occasional UI pauses during longer tasks. A
