Enabling biometric login in the Motorcentral app

This guide explains how to enable biometric login (facial recognition or fingerprint unlock) in the Motorcentral mobile app for faster, password-free access.

When to use

Enable biometric login if you want quicker access to Motorcentral on your mobile device without typing your password each time..

Enabling biometric login

Option 1: first-time prompt

1. Log in to the Motorcentral mobile app using your email and password.
2. After logging in, you'll see a prompt titled Biometric security.
   
3. Tap Turn on biometric ID.
4. Enter your login credentials to confirm the change.
5. Scan your face or fingerprint to log in.

Option 2: enabling manually later

1. Open the Motorcentral mobile app and log in normally.
2. Tap the menu icon (≡) in the top left corner.
3. Select My account.
4. Tap Biometric ID (or a similar option specific to your device).
5. Toggle the switch to On.
6. Enter your login credentials to confirm the change and complete the biometric scan when prompted.

🔓 After setup, you’ll be able to use your biometric method instead of entering a password when logging in.

Disabling biometric login

1. Tap the menu icon (≡) in the top left corner.
2. Select My account.
3. Tap Biometric ID (or a similar option specific to your device).
4. Toggle the switch to Off.
5. Tap the tick icon ✔️ in the top right corner to save.

Notes

• 🔁 You can re-enable biometric login at any time by repeating the setup steps.
• 🚫 Avoid using biometric login on shared or public devices.
