Forgot Password function added
Previously if you forgot your login password you’d have to get an admin to reset it for you or contact the Motorcentral Support team.
Now you can request a password reset directly from the login screen. This will email a password reset request to the email address associated with your user. If you do not have an email address setup for your user we urge you to do so now. This can be completed by clicking your name in the main window of Motorcentral (directly under your logo/business name) and entering an email address in the email address field.

Spell check added to BuyerScore
Native spell check functionality has been added to all browser based windows. This is particular helpful when wanting to spell check responses to BuyerScore customer reviews.

Other features in this release
- Automatically creates new opportunity to follow up when Trade In/Trade Up SMS and/or Letter sent via AMPD CRM (previously was only email).
- Digital Signing Request status is now displayed in the Sale Agreement Inbox view. Represented by a ‘paper & pen’ icon.
- Additional fields added to all vehicle Import extensions (where available) including Purchase Type,
- Interior Colour, Body Style, No. of Seats, Vehicle Features, Purchased Amount.
- Username & Password information can now be saved for Finance Central portal access.
- One open opportunity per customer per dealership now allowed. Previously only one open opportunity per customer across all dealerships was allowed.
- Check added that looks for other “unsold” vehicles that have a matching VIN or Plate to the one being entered. Warns users if any matching duplicate vehicles are found.
- Added VIN verification check when FuelSaver data has been retrieved. This will check to see if the
- FuelSaver VIN is different to the currently held VIN and prompt the user to update.
- Referral Fee field now added wherever Establishment Fee field is present. Allows finance deals to identify Establishment Fees (charged by the Financier) and Referral Fees (charged by the dealer) separately.
- MBI Provider settings now available from the MBI/Warranty dropdown selector.
Bulk Expense Entry screen now warns user if entering a local cost to a vehicle that has a Purchase
- Type that doesn’t support local costs.
- Added shortcuts to latest MC DMS version and Release Notes under the Help menu.
- Vehicle Purchase Agreement report upgraded.
- Bank Account information now displayed in bold on VOSA to help with easier identification.
- Added new Opportunity Medium type of ‘Other’.
- Added Finance Central enhancements to make it simpler to connect Sale Agreements and Finance

- When a product only has a description and not a Part Number, it now displays the description on the first line of the Product Sale Invoice.

VehicleXchange
- Added support for Electric Vehicle specific fields: Battery Wattage, Range and State of Health.
- When selling a vehicle via VehicleXchange a Sale Agreement is automatically created (Pending Completion) and with Sale Type set to Wholesale.
- Now warns if a vehicle will not be exported to VehicleXchange and why.
