Setting up an export to Auto Trader

Motorcentral allows for the exporting of your vehicles through to Auto Trader.

To enable the Auto Trader export:

1. From the main window, go to Tools -> Extensions...
2. Click on the Listing Agent tab
   
3. Click Settings next to Auto Trader
4. Change Status to [On]
   
5. Click OK
6. Click Close to return to the main window

To configure the Auto Trader export complete the following:

1. Click on the Export tab in the navigation menu of the main window.
   
2. You will see a list of your current Exporters. Select the DealerPoint (Trader Group) option from the list on the left (see below).
   
3. Next click on the Admin tab to begin configuring the Exporter.
   
4. Enter the details given to you by Autobase within the required field. The required fields are:
   

   FTP Server:	ftp.dmotorworks.com.au
   FTP Username:	{Username provided by Auto Trader}
   FTP Password:	{Password provided by Auto Trader}
   Data File Name:	{Username provided by Auto Trader}.csv

   
5. Select the options that you require.
   
   Export Consumer Information Notice (CIN)– Sends a copy of the CIN Card as an Image
   Export Vehicle Summary Sheet – Currently unavailable in exporting to Auto Trader
   Export Alternate Variant – Sends the Alternate Variant field over to Auto Trader
   Export Alternate Stock No. – Sends the Alternate Stock No. field over to Auto Trader
   Export Vehicles Sold in the Last XX days – Sends Vehicle List with both Sold and Unsold Vehicles
   Export Image Overlays – Sends through Vehicle Images with the Image Overlay attached to files
   Export Special Pricing – Sends the Special Price field from the Administration tab over to Auto Trader.
   
6. Once all the settings are entered click the Save Settings button to save your Export settings.
