Before completing these steps, please ensure you have obtained your email address, password, incoming mail server name (IMAP), and outgoing mail server name (SMTP) from our Support Team.
Step 1: File > Account Settings > Manage Profiles
**If you do not have the Manage Profiles option select Account Settings.
Step 2: Click New
Step 3: Select Manual setup or additional server types > Next
Step 4: Select POP or IMAP > Next
Step 5: Enter your account details given to you by the Support Team
- Email address
- Account Type: IMAP
- Incoming (IMAP) and outgoing (SMTP) mail server
- Username (full email address)
Step 6: Click More Settings
Outgoing Server tab > Tick My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication > OK
Step 7: Click Advanced tab
Use the following type of encrypted connection: Set both drop down boxes to None
Use the following server ports:
- Incoming Server (IMAP): 143
- Outgoing Server (SMTP): 587
Step 8: You will be taken back to the Account Settings window > Click Next
Your account will now test and verify the settings you have entered. Once this is complete, click Close > Next > Finish
Note: If the account verification fails, double check the account information you entered during steps 4 and 5 is correct.
