How to setup your email account on Mac Mail

Before completing these steps, please ensure you have obtained your email address, password, incoming mail server name (IMAP), and outgoing mail server name (SMTP) from our Support Team.

Step 1: Mail > Add Account…

Step 2: Select Add Other Mail Account…

Step 3: Enter your email account details:
Full Name
Email Address
Password

Create

Step 4: The system will notify you that ‘Account must be manually configured’

Click Next

Step 5: Enter Incoming Mail Server Info

IMAP
Mail Server: mail.hostedemail.com
Username: Full email address
Password

Next

Step 6: Enter additional Incoming Mail Server Info

Port: 993
Tick: Use SSL
Authentication: Password

Next

Step 7: Enter Outgoing Mail Server Info

SMTP Server: mail.hostedemail.com
Username: Full email address
Password

Create

Step 8: Enter additional Outgoing Mail Server Info

Port: 465
Tick: Use SSL
Authentication: Password

Create

Your email account should now be successfully added.
